About Ana

Ana’s interest in teaching was initially sparked while working as an instructional assistant for the Orange Unified School District. While working for OUSD, she realized that the teaching profession was a perfect opportunity to not only support learners academically but also mentor them in their personal growth. Ana received a bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent studies from CSUF. She continued her education at CSUF and received a multiple subject credential with a cross-cultural language and academic development emphasis.

Ana previously worked for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District for 13 years where she taught various grades. Her classroom climate always allowed for creativity and collaboration. Her most favorite words from her learners were “I love school” and “I love you.”

Ana has worked as an educational facilitator for charter programs for several years now. She is familiar with a variety of educational philosophies and works to support each homeschool family’s unique educational vision and plan. She loves her work and feels fortunate to be a support and encouragement to her families as they learn together.

Ana is a homeschool mom to two fun boys. She loves cultivating a love for nature, art and life during their days together. Ana and her husband are committed to living a life that cultivates creativity. During her free time she enjoys reading, music, drawing and travel.
