About Kelly

Kelly has over 20 years of experience in education and has taught just about every grade. Her biggest passion is educating others about different cultures and languages. She was a Spanish teacher for many years and has both a BCLAD single subject credential and a single subject (Spanish) credential.

She was born in Palo Alto, CA, but moved to southern California shortly after and was raised in Mission Viejo. Kelly was an avid swimmer for both the Nadadores and a synchronized swimming team. She even got to participate as a demo swimmer in the 1988 Olympics in Los Angeles!

Kelly studied in Spain during her junior year of college and it sparked something in her. That’s when her love of lifelong learning and travel began. She hopes to instill, encourage and inspire this love of continuous learning with all of her iLEAD families.

Kelly lives in south Huntington Beach with her husband Jon and two kids, Curran and Cassidy, as well as their dog Rusty and their cat, Kona. They love to retreat to their family home in Mammoth Lakes and try to get there at least once a year. In her free time, she loves to read, watch TV and movies, hang out with family and friends and just chill out and laugh as much as possible.
