About Kerry

Kerry is delighted to join iLEAD Exploration as an Educational Facilitator. She grew up in New York City. Kerry earned her Bachelor of Arts in both Anthropology and Political Science from Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY. She then went to Wagner College in NYC where she earned her Masters of Science in both Elementary Education and Special Education. After teaching first grade in Brooklyn, she moved across the country settling in Los Angeles. Following wonderful years as an Inclusion Specialist/Special Education teacher at a high school, fourth grade teacher, and Special Education consultant, Kerry started homeschooling her two amazing children. She is passionate about project-based learning and advocating for the inclusion of all students. She values personalized education and is excited to support students and families. Kerry loves spending time at the beach with her family. She enjoys reading, dancing, running, and walking her two sweet yellow labrador retrievers.
