Mari loved homeschooling her daughter through iLEAD Exploration so much that she decided to join the team! She loves being an educational facilitator and working with awesome students and their dedicated parents. She loves the unique family feel of iLEAD Exploration and the ability to customize learning to individual learning needs.
Mari earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre directing and multiple subject teaching credential from Pepperdine University and a master’s degree in educational technology from Azusa Pacific University. Since beginning her career in education in 2006, she has taught 1st-4th grade, as well as junior high and high school theatre, speech, and debate. Aside from teaching, Mari’s favorite job was being a tour guide in Ketchikan, Alaska.
In her free time, Mari loves going on adventures and creating memories with her husband (also a teacher) and three kids: Tesla, Lulu, and Zander. She enjoys organizing, making photo books, serving in her church, traveling and throwing parties.
