About Stephanie

Stephanie has been an educator for 11 years. She has a BA in K-8 education with a mathematics concentration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Right after college, she volunteered teaching English and working with various programs in Bolivia. After spending 2.5 years in Bolivia, she returned home and was hired as a 5th/6th grade reading teacher. Over the years, she has also taught 2nd, 4th, and 7th grade math. Additionally, Stephanie went back to school to obtain a master’s degree in education from Viterbo University. Outside of school, she tutored in reading and math at a tutoring center for two years.

Stephanie is originally from Wisconsin but moved to California in 2020 after marrying her husband. She has a daughter named Tessa. She loves to spend time with her family and friends. Stephanie enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and traveling.
