About Tamara

Tamara Horner was born and raised in the Antelope Valley. After graduating high school she moved to San Diego where she became employed at the Sam & Rose Stein Education Center, working with exceptional needs children. It was at this time she decided that she wanted to become a special education teacher. Although, life had other plans for Tamara, and it took several years before her dream would be realized. By 1999 she had moved back to the AV, and shortly thereafter began to take college courses at Chapman University. Tamara would go on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, followed by three teaching credentials: Multiple Subject, Mild Moderate and Extensive Support Needs. Tamara has been blessed with two wonderful sons. While raising her sons, she worked on & off again in education, but the majority of her time was spent running two small family businesses. Fast forward to today, Tamara is happily employed at iLEAD Exploration as an Education Specialist.
