Seven Happy Seeds

sujata_chiplunkar

Sujata Chiplunkar is a microbiology professor who grew up in India and began cooking with her mom “Aai” when she was about 12 years old.

Sujata owns and operates a specialty spice company called Seven Happy Seeds and her hand-crafted spice blends have become very popular in the Orange County communities in a short time. She has been conducting Indian cooking classes for two years now, and has taught people of all ages, ethnicities, and culinary interests to use spices to impart unique flavors to dishes made with rice, vegetables, fish, and chicken.

Sujata views cooking not only as art, but also a life skill foundational for a healthy lifestyle. She is especially interested in working with parent/child teams who would like to try new flavors and create family favorites with her spices and super easy recipes she has created in her “forever test kitchen.”
