5th- 7th Grade Marine Biology Day at the Newport Sea Base

Newport Sea Base

Join us at the Newport Sea Base for a hands-on ocean learning experience! Learners will explore topography and how water shapes California’s landscape by creating mini cities to observe erosion and landslides. They will study the significance of plankton under microscopes, examine sea creatures through underwater cameras, and enjoy a pontoon boat ride to observe birds with binoculars.

  • Grades 5-7 only
  • Drop-off or 1 parent allowed (with ticket, credit card fees apply)
  • No younger siblings allowed
  • Parking is free
  • All tickets are final, no refunds
  • 20 student minimum required for this event
