About Kristine

Raised locally, Kristine graduated from Quartz Hill High School, attended Antelope Valley College, and completed an Associate of Science, cum laude. She transferred to the University of California, Davis and completed a Bachelor of Arts in History with an emphasis on the medieval period. Ever the consummate learner, Kristine attended San Diego State University and completed a Master’s of Arts degree in United States History. Her thesis was on 19th century borderlands in the American Southwest, Possession and Title: Corporations and the Sangre de Cristo Land Grant. She enjoyed the topic so much she also became a licensed realtor.
Since 2002, Kristine has been in the field of education and eventually completed a secondary single subject credential at California State University, Bakersfield. Kristine has worked as a classroom teacher for the Antelope Valley Union High School district and as an independent study teacher of a local charter before joining iLEAD Exploration. During her tenure at a public comprehensive high school, Kristine coached Varsity and Junior Varsity Tennis, Mock Trial and was the supervisor for clubs such as American Cancer Society and Fashion Club.
Kristine is a mother to two active children and has made career choices to be able to be hands on and present as a mother. She is a board member of the Rotary Club of Lancaster and enjoys coaching various sports teams in the community. She is a wife to a very supportive husband. Kristine was raised in the Antelope Valley and is enjoying raising her family in her hometown! She loves the community and getting to know families within it while building strong relationships.
