About Myta

Originally from Dallas, Myta discovered her love for Southern California when her family moved here to support her son’s music career. Her son’s unconventional schedule led her to the wonderful world of public charter schools, where she found the flexibility and freedom she craved.

With a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, both California and Texas Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials, and over 15 years of teaching experience in private and public settings in both general and special education, Myta brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as well as a passion for helping families.

Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading, photography, and spending quality time with her husband, three kids, and sweet goldendoodle.

Myta is excited to be a part of the iLEAD Exploration team where she is committed to supporting families with personalized learning and fostering a love for learning!
