About Kathryn

Kathryn grew up in Brea, California and now lives just a mile from her childhood home. After graduating high school, she ventured off to the big city of San Francisco and attended Cal State University, San Francisco. After it rained for 34 days in a row, she returned to sunny Orange County to attend Cal State Fullerton, where she completed her degree in Child and Adolescent Development and earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
Kathryn has been in education for over 16 years. She began her teaching career in early childhood education as a preschool teacher, and then went on to teach at Brea Olinda Unified School District in grades K,1st, and 2nd. She is passionate about being a lifelong learner and helping children build their confidence as they progress in their own educational journey.
When she is not teaching, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She plays softball in a co-ed league with her husband, coaches her daughter’s softball team, and enjoys traveling to Lake Havasu.
