About Carrie

Carrie grew up in Santa Ana, California. She graduated from Chapman University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Advertising. After college she found her passion for teaching and went back to school and earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master’s in Education from Pepperdine University.
Carrie has been in education for over 12 years. She taught elementary school for 10 years in both public and private schools and tutored privately during that time. Her favorite memory was teaching at the same elementary school that she attended alongside her former teachers and principal. She was then able to stay home and raise her three children for 12 years before returning to education as a part time teacher.
During her free time her favorite things to do are to spend time with her family, watch her children play their sports, and travel.
