Personalized Home Study (TK-8)

Serving Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties

iLEAD Exploration is passionate about personalized learning, providing opportunities for each child to thrive through their own individualized learning plan. Families are provided a credentialed teacher (educational facilitator) who assigns and creates an individualized learning plan and assignment work record (ILP/AWR) each year in conjunction with the learner and family, based on grade-level standards and the learner’s passions. Under the guidance of a credentialed educational facilitator, families can incorporate a variety of learning methods and educational activities to achieve their educational goals. Instructional funds are used to support and enhance each learner’s individualized learning plan.

Our dedicated, caring, and highly qualified staff will partner with your family to plan, advise, and encourage the learner to reach their goals. Each month, the educational facilitator will work with the family to develop meaningful, standards-based assignments using the learner’s passions/interests, curriculum, and educational activities. Families meet with their educational facilitator at least every 20 days to share all learning activities and assignments from their individualized learning plans. Work samples are collected for every subject, and parents/guardians will sign learning logs to verify student engagement.

iLEAD Exploration also values community, providing opportunities to foster friendships through a variety of field trips, service projects, park days, and family gatherings.
