About Jennifer

Jennifer has been a California public school educator for nearly 20 years. She received a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a multiple subject teaching credential from California State University Long Beach. She taught general education in grades K through 3 for Morongo Unified School District for 13 years before pursuing a career with California independent study charters. She wanted to empower children and parents who preferred personalized learning outside the traditional brick-and-mortar schools. She feels privileged to assist the independent studying parents of her community in providing an appropriate education for their children. 

Jennifer is also a independent studying parent as well, taking on the education of her two elementary-aged with joy and responsibility. She is excited to be a part of the iLEAD community as an educational facilitator this year!
