About Lynne

Lynne Velasco is excited to be a member of the iLEAD team and assist families and learners on their personalized educational journeys. She earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of San Diego. Following college, she was co-manager for a small hotel on Catalina Island. An onsite manager apartment was provided which enabled her to be mom and manager simultaneously; giving her ample time to spend with her two daughters.

When her girls were older, she went back to school to earn a multiple subject credential and master’s degree in education at the University of Phoenix. She was an elementary teacher in a brick and mortar school for many years. Additionally, she has experience as a substitute teacher for grades preschool through eighth grade.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, reading, camping, paddleboarding, hiking, listening to music, taking walks on the beach. and spending time with family and friends.
