Poetry

April is National Poetry Month! Launched by the Academy of American Poets in April 1996, National Poetry Month reminds the public that poets have an integral role to play in our culture and that poetry matters. It is now one of the largest literary celebrations in the world. We are excited to share some resources with you throughout the month that will include activities and information to learn more about poetry. Here is a website to get you started celebrating poets and poetry.
