Join our Black Family Alliance and collaborate with families to build a strong foundation in our school. Share your voice and let’s thrive together!
Held on the second Tuesday of each learning period (LP) at one, the Black Family Alliance family group meets monthly to empower and support Black families by fostering a nurturing environment that enhances academic achievement, cultural pride, and holistic well-being. It is a space where Black families can build relationships with each other and school personnel while also ensuring they have access to the resources, advocacy, and community connections needed for their learner’s academic, social, and emotional success.
Who: For families with learners who identify as African, African American or Black
What: A safe space for families to create and facilitate engagement with support
When: The 2nd Tuesday of every month 1 to 1:30 pm.
