Book Club for Grades 3-5: Mañanaland

Calling all 3rd- 5th graders! Starting September 21, join us as we go on a dangerous adventure with Max as he discovers his family’s secret and helps a young girl escape to Mañanaland. Using his grandfather’s stories as clues, learners journey along with Max, exploring themes of courage, loss, hope, and freedom. This book is neither in our past or future, allowing learners to make connections to the Underground Railroad and the Refugee Crisis.
