Book Club for Grades 6th-8th: They Call Us Enemy

Over the course of four weeks, book clubbers in grades 6-8 will read the graphic novel, They Called Us Enemy. This memoir written by George Takei recounts his childhood in a Japanese internment camp. Book clubbers will explore how to read a graphic novel, how to write in a graphic novel style, as well as diving into the history behind internment camps.

There will be an in-person culminating event at the end of the book club.
