Enrichment: Crime Scene Writing Lab (Grades 6 and up)

Join us in the Acton Curriculum Library where we will be conducting an exciting ELA adventure focused on investigating crime scenes. Over the course of three sessions, learners will play the role of forensic technician, detective, and even journalist. In this lab, learners will keep an investigator’s notebook as they explore crime scenes, both real and make believe. Over three sessions, we’ll gather evidence, analyze it, and come to informed conclusions. In addition to this crime scene investigation, learners will also have the chance to have hands-on lab experience in careers in criminal justice.
