Exploring the Arts: Fabric to Fashion Sewing School in Long Beach (Grades 7th-12th)

Learners in grades 7th-12th are invited to join vendor, Fabric to Fashion Sewing School, for an 8 week session to learn the basic principles of sewing. By the end of 8 weeks, learners will feel comfortable with how to use a sewing machine properly and have the confidence to jump into any basic sewing project. Learners will explore how to thread a sewing machine, insert a zipper, and how to use a sewing pattern and pins to make anything! They will leave with a tote bag completely made by them AND a lined zipper pouch.

Cost: There is no charge to attend these class sessions but there is limited capacity.
