Learner University: CLASS FULL Winter Wonderland Creative Writing (Grades 2-4)

How can we create an engaging narrative that brings a winter wonderland to life through the use of story elements? During this PBL opportunity, learners will explore the sights, sounds, and experiences of winter to craft a narrative that transports the reader to a magical winter setting. By drawing inspiration from real-world winter environments and experiences, learners will create a story that resonates with their audience and sparks their imagination.
Learners will research various winter landscapes, activities, and sensory experiences to inform the details and setting of their narrative. They will investigate the use of descriptive language, character development, and plot structure to build an immersive winter story. Through this process, learners will develop a deeper understanding of the elements of storytelling and how to effectively convey a narrative.
