Museum of Tolerance- 6th -12th grades
May 19, 2025 @ 2:00 am - 5:00 am PDT
The Museum of Tolerance is designed to engage visitors in experiential exhibits that promote dialogue about personal responsibility and social justice in both historical and contemporary contexts. Learners actively explore the dynamics of prejudice and discrimination historically and today. In the Holocaust exhibit, students receive a card that reveals the story of a child whose life was changed by the Holocaust. Promoting critical thinking and youth empowerment, experiences in the Social Lab challenge students to examine themes such as the power of words and images, contemporary human and civil rights and the importance of speaking up. Facilitated reflections support the students as they engage with the exhibits.
