Online Scribblers: Introduction to Paragraphs – Session 1(Grades 1-3)
June 17 - July 5
Learners in grades 1-3 are invited to join vendor, Online Scribblers, for a fully asynchronous online class focused on writing an introduction. During this three week class learners will:
• Receive personal/individual feedback provided on every paragraph submitted
• Learn to use a graphic organizer to plan paragraphs with greater detail
• Draw pictures to accompany paragraphs
• Receive printables to do work and upload back to the online classroom
Week 1: Sandwich Planning & Graphic Organizer – Write a paragraph about your family using the provided graphic organizer and draw a picture!
Week 2: Proper Paragraph Format – Write a paragraph about your favorite vacation using the provided graphic organizer
and draw a picture!
Week 3: Introduction to Proofreading – Write a paragraph about your hobbies using the provided graphic organizer and draw
a picture!
