Story Time & Art: Clementine Hunter, Grades 1-4

Learners are invited to the Acton Library to discover the story of Clementine Hunter, a traditional folk artist whose work showcased the highs and lows of southern farm life. While many people came to see her work in galleries, Clementine was barred from seeing her own work because of the color of her skin. Learners will then make their own folk art in the style of murals and graffiti with crayons.
