About Alyssa

Alyssa has been teaching biology, anatomy, and physiology at both the high school and college level for the last 8 years. She received her B.A. in Biology from California State University, San Bernardino where she worked in a comparative physiology lab studying muscle adaptations in the American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis). She then received her M.A. in Biology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where she worked in a research lab studying the effect of Huntington’s disease on skeletal muscle. When not teaching, Alyssa enjoys camping with her family, baking, and gardening.
