Amri Gallardo
Educational Facilitator
About Amri
After working in brick-and-mortar schools for more than a decade, Amri then independent studyed her own children. As a result of that experience, Amri realized that independent studying provides the highest quality education for the learner. She enjoys instilling the excitement for learning in both the student as well as the family. She has worked with families from a rich diversity of backgrounds and with students from a full spectrum of learning abilities. In doing so, she has learned to customize education programs that meet the unique and varying needs of the students and their families. She possesses the skills, experience, and dedication to serve families on their journey toward independent studying success in order for students to reach maximum potential and create a life-long love of learning.
After only two weeks of courtship, Amri married her husband and has been married for 20+ years. She has two children. The youngest, in elementary school, dreams of becoming a future policewoman/helicopter pilot/chef/dentist. Her oldest, a middle schooler, is a college student, “Princess of Nerddom,” and a bilingual working actress. Amri also enjoys watching her children build life skills around the home. Along with her children, she enjoys watching and listening to ’80s and ’90s music and curling up with a good book. Her children are often accused of living in a time warp and can be seen wearing apparel emblazoned with anachronistic imagery from vintage ’80s TV shows such as CHiPs, 21 Jump Street, MacGyver, and The A-Team (Amri really enjoys ’80s retro).
