About Breana

Breana is thrilled to join the iLEAD family as an educational facilitator. She received her bachelor’s in liberal studies from Cal State University Long Beach and is currently teaching TK-K at iLEAD’s OC learning studio. She is a strong advocate for a child-centered, developmentally appropriate approach to education. She involves her students in project-based learning, self-directed activities and authentic learning.

She has taught all grades in public school, while simultaneously independent studying her own children. She is making the professional jump from public school to independent study in order to follow her heart and passion and work in an environment that aligns with her philosophy. She believes in the ability of every child to reach his or her potential and find excitement in learning.

Breana balances her passion for teaching with her four children. Her personal interests include camping and reading.
