About Cheryl
Cheryl has been working in special education for 15 years; she started out as a 1:1 aide and has been teaching for the last eight years. She has taught at a variety of schools including private school, public schools, and most recently at independent charter school. Cheryl has a Master’s degree in Special Education emphasizing moderate to severe disabilities and has her clear credential in moderate to severe disabilities.
Special education has a special place in Cheryl’s life and heart since she has a sibling who has special needs. Through growing up and volunteering in her sibling’s classroom, she found a passion and joy working with this population. It shows when she works/interacts with her students and their families.
In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, looking at memes on the internet, and hanging out with her friends.
