About Christine
Chris is excited to join the iLEAD Exploration team. She believes that encouraging lifelong learners is a huge privilege and that all students are capable of success.
Chris grew up in southern California and earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, with a concentration in sociology, from California State University, Long Beach. Shortly thereafter she returned to CSULB to earn her teaching credential. Chris has 20 years of educational experience in both California and Arizona, teaching primarily 2nd-6th grades. She has also worked as an intervention TOSA and mentor teacher. Along the way, she also earned certifications in gifted education and early childhood education, as well as a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University.
Chris now lives in Ladera Ranch with her wonderful husband and amazing teenage son. Together they enjoy the beach, baseball, and Disneyland. She can often be found on the baseball field or at the skatepark, wherever her son is practicing or playing. In her free time, Chris enjoys reading, crafting, and dragging her friends to her favorite teahouse.
