About Cristina

Cristina’s teaching experience spans a variety of educational settings with learners ranging from preschoolers to adults. Most recently, she taught middle and high school students with behavioral and emotional challenges at a nonpublic school for ten years, an experience that deepened her passion for special education and for mental health. She is excited about supporting students on their academic and personal journeys while collaborating with their families and with the iLEAD Exploration team!

Cristina holds a BA in Liberal Studies, a Multiple Subject credential, and an Education Specialist (Mild/Moderate) credential from California State University Northridge, as well as an MA in Education with an emphasis in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
