About Kari

Kari Cook earned a bachelor’s degree in child development from California State University, Northridge. She went on to earn a master’s degree in education from Pepperdine. Before working with independent study families, she was an intervention teacher for grades K-6. She loved working with students and watching them grow throughout the school year.
When Kari is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, Hailey, Hannah, and Blake. She enjoys being outdoors whether it be riding bikes, going on hikes, swimming in the pool, or taking her kids to the park.
