About Kaylee

Kaylee Osegueda graduated from California State University of Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a multiple subject teaching credential. After she graduated, she lived in Thailand for a year working with children who were at risk of or who had been rescued from trafficking. This experience shaped her in many ways. She was able to experience different cultures and even see different philosophies of education.

Upon her return, she worked at Legacy Christian Academy where she taught fifth grade for six years. Once her daughter was born in 2019 she decided it was time to begin working with learners in an independent study program. This would allow her to pursue her passion of working with children while also being able to spend more time with her daughter.

Kaylee was independent studyed in elementary school and has many friends who independent study their own children. She has seen the benefits that can come from this type of education and is thrilled to be facilitating that for families. She is excited about being a part of the iLEAD organization and looks forward to working with new students and families.
