About Kylee

Kylee Cooper-Robles was born and raised in the Midwest. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education. After working as a small business manager for 15 years, Kylee decided to transition back into the education field when she began independent studying her son. This is her first year with iLEAD Exploration and she is excited by the opportunity to guide other families along their independent study journeys.
As a former independent study student herself and a current independent study mom, Kylee is passionate about independent studying and independent studies. She is a huge advocate of making home education accessible to all. Kylee’s interests include nature-based learning/forest school, student centered learning, and entrepreneurship.
In her free time, Kylee loves to bake, create, watch documentaries, go on walks in nature, explore local attractions, go on picnics, try new foods, play board games, and road trip to new places.
She currently resides in Banning with her husband, son, and their dog Parker.
