About Leesa
Leesa earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Business from San Diego State University followed by a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She worked in distribution and product management until her second child was born. When the classical school her children attended closed, she reluctantly began independent studying three children while caring for her toddler. It is there where she honed her customization skills to adapt to her children’s learning style, strengths, and challenges.
After independent studying her children for eight years, she went back to school to earn her multiple subject credential from CalState TEACH. She has experience teaching Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 4th grade in the public school and 6th grade in a private hybrid/independent study. Leesa and her husband of 30 years have four children. Her family loves to travel, mountain bike, snowboard, ski, and surf. In her free time, you will find Leesa running, swimming, cooking or reading. Competitive by nature, she enjoys playing both card and board games.
Leesa has a passion for individualized instruction and for encouraging the love of learning. She is excited to be a part of the iLEAD Exploration team!
