About Rend

After growing up in the L.A. area and graduating from El Camino Real High School, she enrolled at UC Santa Barbara and earned a BA in Global Studies followed by a MA in Education at Pepperdine University and most recently a MA in Administrative Leadership at CSUN.

In spite of her California roots, Rend spent her first year teaching in Internationally. She has been in education for the last two decades. This includes working with students TK-12, being a founder of a charter school, and mentoring other teachers. Her favorite part of education is supporting families in their education journey and watching them grow.

Outside of her life as an educator, Rend loves going to musicals and Disneyland with her husband Josh, being a mom to her son Jude, playing with her Maltipoo Minnie, taking dance classes, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to travel and learn new languages. While having basic language abilities in French, Rend is also fluent and literate in Arabic.
