About Sara

Sara was raised in Tustin and recently moved to a home less than a mile from her childhood home where her parents still live. One of her favorite things to do is ride bikes with her husband and two children over to Grandma and Papa’s house for a visit. She also enjoys reading anything and everything. Some of her favorite authors include Jane Austen, Jon Krakauer, Malcolm Gladwell, and Fredrik Backman. She has edited several books and enjoys volunteering with a faith-based, non-profit organization for women.

After graduating from BIOLA University with a communications degree, Sara worked as a K-12 substitute teacher, then enrolled at Vanguard University to complete her single subject English credential. She spent eight years working in the Tustin Unified School District as an honors and college prep English teacher, then left the classroom in 2014 to become a full time mom.

Supporting high school students as they complete their English coursework is a dream job for Sara. She looks forward to spending time with each learner and hopes to inspire each one toward academic and personal growth.
