About Susan
Susan Meredith loves the flexibility that independent studying offers and looks forward to meeting with her learners each month to hear about everything they have been learning. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in international relations/political science from UCSB, she lived in Tokyo, Japan for three years where she taught English as a second language. There, she fell in love with teaching. Upon returning to the United States, Susan received a teaching credential at National University in single subject mathematics. She went on to teach pre-algebra, algebra and geometry in the Capistrano Unified School District. She became an educational facilitator for another charter program before working for iLEAD Exploration and has always loved it.
Susan has three daughters: one who attends USC and twins who are high school juniors. This last year, Susan has been learning the ins and outs of how high school learners study for SAT and ACT tests, the process for applying into colleges, and how to write college essays, etc. in order to assist her 16 year old daughters getting into colleges.
When she is not working, Susan loves to exercise and relax at the beach with her family and friends.
