Field Trips
Who doesn’t love the BEACH?
On May 6, iLEAD Exploration is offering the perfect volunteer opportunity for your children to learn about the importance of keeping our beautiful beaches clean by getting a chance to participate in a beach clean-up. Come to the Huntington State Beach lifeguard headquarters building and hear the California Department of Parks and Recreation staff give an informative Beach Clean-Up Safety/Ecological Talk and a short Marine Debris Awareness Talk. Afterward, participate in a beach clean-up. Finally, stay and enjoy a fun BEACH DAY with other iLEAD families!
Reservations for this field trip are now open! To reserve your spot, sign up here . We look forward to seeing you there!
Descanso Gardens
Come join us for a beautiful day at Descanso Gardens in La Canada (near Pasadena) on Thursday, May 12, at 10:00 a.m. We will enjoy a self-guided tour (you’ll receive information to help plan your day in advance) and lunch together in a designated picnic area. The trip is free for learners and siblings, and adults are $9, but we are limited to 30 children. Visit their website to see the ways they beautifully display California and international landscaping! To reserve your spot, sign up here. We look forward to seeing you there!
