Learner Spotlight: Roxanne Sullivan
Meet Roxanne Sullivan, superstar sixth grader and overall creative being!
Roxanne loves gymnastics and she just recently started taking ukulele lessons.
When she is not doing back flips or strumming some tunes, she helps run her family’s T-shirt business that they began a few years ago.
When Roxanne and her two sisters found out that their family would be blessed with baby brother Eli, who had an extra chromosome, they merged their creativity with their passion to educate people on how special these kiddos are.
Their T-shirt company, Littlest Warrior, focuses on creating innovative and clever designs that reframe “down syndrome” to “chromosomally enhanced” and other fun designs.
Roxanne enjoys independent studying because she gets to stay in her pajamas to do her work and she also earns money by packaging T-shirt orders. Mostly she loves that she gets to spend time with her mom and little brother Eli. To see some of their designs, head on over to their shop here.
