We will continue to celebrate Native American Heritage Month as we explore “Living Nations, Living Words.” This is the signature project of Joy Harjo, the 23rd U.S. Poet Laureate and first Native American poet to serve in this position. “Living Nations, Living Words” gathers and highlights the diverse voices of 47 contemporary Native American poets.
