Autism Acceptance Month
April is National Autism Acceptance Month. Autism is a neurodivergence with differences beginning to show during the early childhood years. Autism may, for example, affect individuals’ abilities to communicate and interact with others.
It’s important to remember that autism is not a single characteristic. It is, rather, a wide and complex range of differences that affect individuals uniquely.
