Book Club for 3rd-5th Graders
Calling all 3rd-5th graders! Join us starting September 21 as we go on a dangerous adventure with Max, who discovers his family’s secret and helps a young girl escape to Mañanaland. Using his grandfather’s stories as clues, learners journey along with Max, exploring themes of courage, loss, hope, and freedom. This book is in neither our past nor our future, allowing learners to make connections to the Underground Railroad and the Refugee Crisis.
