Book Club: ‘El Deafo’ for Grades 3-5
Learners in grades 3-5 are invited join us in reading El Deafo, an amazing, hilarious, and moving graphic novel (comic book style!). In Cece’s old class, all of her classmates were deaf. As she starts a new school, she will be wearing a hearing aid. At first, this makes her feel self-conscious, but then she makes an exciting discovery. Let’s discover together how Cece uses her new powers.
