Book Club for Grades 6-8: ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’

Learners in grades 6-8 are invited to head down the rabbit hole with Alice to explore the world of nonsense. Only the most absurd of Carroll’s poetry will be explored as we flex our writing skills to the furthest reaches of silliness. We’ll cover satire, symbolism, and the historical happenings of Victorian England.
Zoom Meetings at 9 AM:
- March 22
- March 29
- April 12
- April 19
Optional Movie Day: April 26 – Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Alice is in the public domain, so almost any copy of the book will do. An annotated version is a great way to get additional information about the time period and content. You will want to avoid an abridged version or you will miss out on valuable info.
