Book Club for Middle Schoolers: Hidden Figures

Beginning February 24, we are offering a Book Club for grades 6-8: Hidden Figures. Hidden Figures follows the true story of four NASA scientists. Over the course of four Zoom meetings, book clubbers will read the novel together and explore the era. Learners will investigate topics including the following: making inferences, cause and effect, and the importance of STEM. RSVP here.
The culminating event will be an optional movie showing of the 2016 production of Hidden Figures. Learners can compare and contrast the themes of the two interpretations of the same story.
