Budding Botanist: The Science of Life

Join us as we “dig” into ecosystems! Through making our own terrariums, we will investigate the role of sunlight and how environmental matter cycles in a system. We will also explore plant growth and survival through our seed-starting activity and lima bean dissection. Sign up here.
This event focuses on 3rd-5th grade science topics, but all grade levels are welcome to join!
Virtual: Join the virtual session on Tuesday, May 7, at 11:00 AM over Zoom.
In Person: Come explore with us on Friday, May 10, at the Costa Mesa Learning Center at 11:00 AM. Please note: Capacity is limited, but we will offer a wait list.
Virtual Presentation of Learning: On Thursday, May 16, at 11:00 AM over Zoom, come share with us anything you experienced or learned along the way!
We will share a guidance document so you can choose to explore asynchronously. It will have challenges and fun ideas, incorporating the elements of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).
