Testing Tips
Your child should…
- Get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast.
- Have headphones with them if you have some and a computer mouse if they like to use one.
- Wear comfortable clothes.
- Have a favorite snack ready.
- Chew gum or suck on mints during testing. Peppermint is a natural remedy for boosting memory and concentration.
- Plan something to look forward to afterward.
- Use the raise-hand button to stop for breaks as often as they need to.
- Not stress and just try their best! There will be things they know and things they may not have learned yet. That’s OK!
