Upcoming Events at the Acton Curriculum Library
Please see below for upcoming events at the Acton Curriculum Library for grades 1-12.
Dungeons and Dragons (Grades 6-12):
Learners in grades 6-12 are invited to join us at the Acton Curriculum Library to travel through the world of Dungeons and Dragons, a creative storytelling game. Together we’ll embark on a biweekly quest as we learn to work cooperatively together, solve problems as a group, and creatively write our characters into existence in this fantastical world. Join us on Tuesday, November 28, at 1:00 PM for our first meeting. Please complete this Interest Form if you would like to participate.
Story Time & Art: How the Stars Fell into the Sky: A Navajo Legend (Grades 1-4):
Learners in grades 1-4 are invited to the Acton Curriculum Library on November 29 from 1:00-3:00 PM for storytime and art. Learners will explore a lesson on the Ute Petroglyphs at Delicate Arch in eastern Utah and use this art as inspiration for their own sculptures. We will work with clay, paint, and explore Sgraffito (a technique of carving in wet clay).
