Field Trip Round Up
iLEAD Exploration hosted a variety of engaging field trips during the first few months of the school year!
In September, learners had the opportunity to visit the Torrance Fire Station where they met firefighters and learned about fire fighting equipment.
Learners also had the chance to visit the Stanley Ranch Museum. They went back in history, getting to see an old schoolhouse, post office, barber shop, dental room, Walt Disney’s garage studio, and a replica of the first fire station in the area!
During the month of October, learners visited the pumpkin patch at Tanaka Farms.
They also visited the animals of Gilchrist Family Farm, taking a guided farm tour and navigating the hay bale maze.
Be sure to check out the Field Study and Event calendar for future field trip opportunities!
